Looking for a hotel in Bali is incredibly time consuming. The Place is flooded with hotels and resorts as Bali's main income comes from tourism, so they sure offer a lot of varieties. Staying in Bali, you have to firstly decide between which area to stay in, It's either the beach (Kuta), or the jungle (Ubud) which are the two main spots. Kuta is the more busier area, with a huge nightlife, whereas Ubud is a lot more quiet and intimate, perfect for couples. After weeks of research, we decided to book Pita Maha Resort & Spa which is in the jungle area of Ubud. We figured going from the sandy Dubai, we defiantly wanted to be in the beautiful nature of the jungle.
Pita Maha was a magical place. Opening the bedroom door to our private pool. Walking on beautiful stone layed floors amongst the flowers and trees up to the reception. Watching squirrels chase each other up the trees while we tuck into our stunning breakfast. Afternoon teas served with sweet little deserts made from local exotic ingredients. Breathtaking views of the jungle beyond the hotels infinity pool. Rice fields in the distant and birds singing along with the soft music played throughout the hotel. I think the photographs i took doesn't do this beautiful place enough justice. You just have to go and see for yourself!
